- Zuurvrij papier is papier met een pH van 7 of hoger; het kan zuurabsorberende stoffen bevatten zoals calciumcarbonaat (alkalische reserve). Zuurvrij papier wordt veel gebruikt als pakpapier en wordt veel toegepast bij passieve conservering.
